Site Evaluation
On site evaluation of proposed project boundaries, water intake
and penstock routing, powerhouse sizing, discharge location,

Project Hydrology
Preparation of flow duration curves from existing USGS studies,
calculation of gross and net head availability, selection of the best
technology to match calculated hydrology, selection of proper
capacity and derivation of annual expected generation.
Conceptual Design Services
Based on the hydrology and technology selections preliminary
design of the water intake, penstock, turbine, generator and water
discharge can be provided in a Project Concept drawing.
Budgetary cost estimates on total Project construction and
estimated construction schedule.
Financial and Economic Evaluation
Preliminary project pro-forma calculations based on budgetary
project costs, expected annual operating expenses and projected
capital structure and financing assumptions.
Assistance with FERC filings
Data gathering and compilation for the application for Preliminary
Permits, engineering and economic information for FERC
licensing and support with the FERC licensing process, including
attendance in FERC meetings, Public Hearings and Agency
Consultation.
Total Project Development
Management of the entire development process from the
Preliminary Permit Application through financing, construction
and commercial operation.
